Purpose Works KC is the product of a think tank designed to unite nonprofit leaders and nonprofit support groups, foster collaboration, and drive strategic initiatives for the betterment of the Kansas City community. Founded in January 2024 by RubinBrown in partnership with Teddi Hernandez, the think tank is built on the belief that greater impact happens when dynamic nonprofit leaders collaborate and leverage their unique strengths.

Together, we are launching a bold, multi-year initiative designed to attract and retain top talent, reshape perceptions of nonprofit work, and build a dynamic, mission-driven workforce.

Through this initiative, we will:
